The inaugural Build North Expo 2025 has been hailed as a major success, drawing hundreds of industry professionals to Bolton Wanderers FC Stadium for a day of networking, innovation, and collaboration.

With more than 400 attendees and 84 exhibitors, the event showcased cutting-edge advancements in construction, offering insights into everything from sustainability and modern building techniques to supply chain efficiency and finance.

A packed exhibition hall and a line-up of expert speakers provided attendees with valuable industry connections and fresh perspectives on the sector’s evolving landscape.

Organised by Crosby Associates Media, the Expo kicked off with an exclusive drinks reception on February 19, giving key industry players the chance to network and explore new business opportunities ahead of the main event the following day.

Nick Fellows, Managing Director of Crosby Associates Media, described the event as a major milestone. “From the drinks reception to the final moments on Thursday, the response has been fantastic,” he said.

“The support and professionalism from our exhibitors and speakers have been outstanding. Their expertise has been invaluable, and we hope they found the event just as rewarding.”

A standout feature was the diverse range of exhibitors, including industry leaders such as Regatta Professional, Portwest, Independent Access Sales, Demon Conversion, and Combilift.

Attendees engaged with cutting-edge technology and services designed to enhance efficiency and performance in the sector.

The Expo also hosted high-profile talks from experts across the industry, including Lloyd Collins (Environment Bank), Callum Budd (MRA Research), Dave Richards (IMS Heat Pumps), Andrew Bridge (CITB), and Charlotte Rutter (Roma Finance).

Rutter provided valuable insights into the role of finance in construction, highlighting Roma Finance’s growing support for developers and investors. She noted that 2025 had already been the company’s busiest period to date, with surging investment in refurbishment, new builds, and property flips.

Nick Fellows added: “Early feedback has been hugely positive, and we’re already planning the next Build North Expo in October at Leeds United’s Elland Road. We’re expanding the event space, bringing in even more exhibitors, and building on the momentum of this debut event.”

With its successful launch, Build North Expo is set to become a must-attend event for the construction sector, offering a crucial platform for networking, learning, and business growth.
