Build North Expo is set to welcome UAP Limited, a UK manufacturer and supplier of door hardware, fire safety and security solutions, to this year’s event.
With increasing focus across the construction sector on compliance, safety and performance, the role of door hardware is becoming more significant in both new build and refurbishment projects. UAP Limited’s presence at the event reflects that shift, bringing attention to how everyday components contribute to wider building safety outcomes.
Supporting Safer Buildings Through Hardware
Door hardware plays a critical role in how buildings perform, particularly in relation to fire safety and security. From fire-rated locks and cylinders to door closers and hinges, correctly specified products are essential to ensuring doors function as intended in real-world conditions.
UAP Limited develops and supplies a range of hardware designed to meet recognised industry standards, supporting contractors, developers and specifiers working across residential and commercial schemes.
As regulations and expectations evolve, manufacturers are continuing to adapt. There is growing demand for products that not only meet compliance requirements but also offer durability, reliability and ease of installation.
UAP Limited’s portfolio reflects these demands, with solutions designed for a variety of door types and applications. This includes systems suited to high-traffic environments, as well as products developed to support fire door performance and security requirements.
Innovation and Practical Solutions
The construction industry is placing increasing emphasis on performance-led design, and hardware is no exception. Manufacturers are investing in product development to improve longevity, safety and usability.
This includes advancements in areas such as surface finishes, product testing and integrated locking systems. For those involved in specification and installation, the focus is on solutions that are both compliant and practical to use on site.
